I am a Navy veteran with a passion for sailing and filmmaking. I'm originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and joined the Navy to travel. After doing that for about nine years I decided I would get out, travel, and pursue my passions of sailing and filmmaking. I found that Portland was one of the best places to do both sailing and filmmaking. I am now the Captain of the PSU Sailing Club as well as a sailing instructor at the Willamette Sailing Club. I'm also a filmmaker who has found a passion for writing and storytelling about my personal experiences and relatable characters in fantastical situations. Throughout my time in school, I have been praised for my writing ability and encouraged to continue to tell my stories. I have enjoyed writing narrative film projects, non-fictional short stories, non-fictional comics, and a sitcom based on my time in the Navy. These are all just the beginning of what I imagine doing for the foreseeable future.
